How to Build a Successful Down-line in Network Marketing.
If you want to build a successful down-line in your MLM company you should choose your down-line members wisely and carefully.
When it comes to Recruiting for your Network Marketing Business, most people, even many Guru's believe in the old phrase, "the more the merrier." I disagree with this statement. Just because they have a pulse does not mean they are a good candidate to be recruited.
Or to put it another way, they believe in quantity over quality when it comes to lead recruiting.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Statistically, each network marketer will recruit less than 3 leads into their businesses. Let me tell you that numbers like that will not bring on the American Dream. That's not the stuff, great down-lines are made of.
Additionally, Statistically, at least 95 % of all networkers will fail, or quit before they turn a profit. So all in all, without proper training and the right system the average network marketer is "statistically doomed to fail."
If you plan to succeed in network marketing and build a big down-line you need to choose the people you recruit very carefully. Make sure that the people you pick have are motivated to succeed and are willing to work just as hard, if not harder than you are.
Let me ask you a question. If you had the chance to recruit 5000 random marketers with little or no experience at network marketing or you could recruit 50 experienced marketers with great recruiting skills, whom would you recruit?
I would choose the 50 experienced marketers, and I hope you would too. I would build a corp group of leaders and together come up with a duplicatable system to teach to each new team-member. Duplication is the key to successfully building your MLM Down-line.
You should be motivated as well as motivate your team members as well. When I say motivate your team members, I'm not talking rah rah, or being a cheerleader. Lead by example and show your team how to do it. The best way to Motivate People is by Way of Example. Always lead by example.
Another thing I can't stress enough is that to build a successful down-line you must share information. Pass on what works. Every time you learn a new tip, trick or technique, pass it on to your team-mates. Have weekly webinars, phone conferences and whatever else it takes to stay up to date.
Give freely of your knowledge, experience and training and it will pay off big time. Lead by Example, Brand yourself and teach others how to duplicate what you do, as well.
However, there is nothing wrong with recruiting pure newbies either. We were all newbies once. And You never know who the next internet rockstar is going to be. The point is is that there is a learning curve involved, and it's easier to build with experienced players who can hit the ground running.
As Jim Rohn said, "You can lead a 1000, but you can't carry 3." Be giving of your time and knowledge but also make sure your leaders and their leaders are doing the same thing. Duplication is the Key. If you and your corp group of leaders can teach people how to get started and then how to duplicate your efforts, you will be smiling all the way to the bank.
So What have we learned here today? In order to Successfully recruit a large down-line, focus on recruiting experienced networker's. They already "get it", are motivated and have recruiting skills. They may also already have long list or "genealogy lists they can use to recruit large numbers of people in a small amount of time. They in turn can be left alone to do what it is they do.
However, always be willing to work with people new to the industry as well. The Key is "Work With the Willing." No matter the level of experience, if the person is motivated to build their home business Down-line they will likely do so.
They Key factors for me are Desire and Motivation. Even if the person has no experience, People who are motivated and desirous are easy to work with and are likely to stick with it. I will spend extra time helping people who truly working to build their own businesses.

A Self Funded Proposal is an Attraction Marketing Strategy Designed to help you Build Your Network Marketing Business. Attraction Marketing Strategies differ from traditional sales theory in one major way. In Traditional Sales, everything focuses on making the Sale Now.
In Attraction Marketing and Funded Proposals the first step is to create a bond with the potential client. The strategy is to get the Consumer to Like, Trust and Want to Buy from the Network Marketer because of the relationship they have established. The Strategy is based on Human Nature. As we are all just human, we like to associate with and do business with people that we like.
Funded Proposals are a relatively new creation on the Network Marketing Scene. They are typically aimed at other Network Marketers, or people looking to start their own home businesses. These groups are generally looking for information, products or solutions to their MLM problems.
Typically Funded Proposals consist of what are known as "Front End" and "Back End" Strategies. The Front End of the Proposal offers the Solution to the consumer's problem in the form of either a "free product, information, or a relatively low priced product. The main goal is to get each persons opt in information and get them into the marketers "Funnel."
After you get the persons opt in information so you can start marketing to them and eventually make Larger Sales or get them into your Primary Network Marketing Business.
On the "Front End" it is really irrelevant whether the prospect just clicks to get the free item, buys the funded proposal offer or joins your primary business. Your priority to to prime the pump and get your Business Funnel full of Prospects. It doesn't matter if they buy anything now or not, it's more important to create a large list of quality leads.
In the "Front End" of Your Funded Proposal Business Strategy is to:
1. Generate a Massive Amount of Leads;
2. Create Cash Flow, or Now Money, to allow you to keep running your Primary Business;
3. Build Your List of Prospects, Clients and Consumers.
A good quality Auto-responder is Key to Keeping in touch with your Customers once they have entered your Marketing Funnel. Aweber and Get Response are two of the best.
Auto-responders are used to Constantly Drip friendly reminders to your consumers of any information, offers or value you choose to send their way. Your Goal is to Brand Yourself as a Knowledgeable Expert whom they like, trust and feel comfortable doing business with.
On the "Back End" once You've given value to your customers and they feel comfortable with you then you Offer Higher Ticket Items, Including, but not limited to your Primary Business Opportunity. The Theory is that people are more likely to buy more expensive items from someone they either know, like, trust, have done business with before, or a combination thereof.
Does that last sentence sound like a lawyer wrote it, or what? Sorry the lawyer in me get's carried away sometimes. :-)
So remember, the importance of a Self Funded Proposal when Building Your Network Marketing Business. Be sure to give Value, Brand Yourself and Solve your Customers Problems. You will be far more successful in your MLM Business, if you build a relationship with your Customers, or should I say "Friends", instead of just treating them like names on a money list.
